Meet Holly: Neurodiversity Specialist and Expert Tutor

Holly brings an exceptional level of academic rigour and deep compassion to her tutoring practice.

Her professionalism is backed up by higher education certification. Holly holds two Master’s degrees in Psychology and has conducted dedicated research focused on Autism and ADHD.

This extensive background allows her to move beyond conventional teaching methods and apply evidence-based, psychological insights directly to the learning process.

A Research-Informed, Strengths-Based Approach

Holly’s tutoring is not simply about reviewing homework; it is about providing the cognitive tools for long-term classrooom independence.

Holly utilises a neuro-affirming, strengths-based model, recognising that every student’s brain is uniquely brilliant.

Key areas of focus during sessions include:

  • Implementing individualised, practical strategies to improve organisation, planning, time management, and task initiation—skills that are critical for academic success.
  • Applying specialised techniques to make challenging subjects accessible, while always adapting to the student's unique processing style and targeting skills development.
  • Guiding students to understand their own learning profile and confidently communicate their needs to teachers and peers, gaining the knowledge, learning the skills and developing the confidence to communicate.

Our Promise to Students and Parents

Holly is dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and predictable learning environment where students feel understood, respected, and motivated to achieve their full potential.
